FEAR GOD, KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, Part IV
     WORD OF THE DAY:"TREASURE"

Scripture reference: Amplified Bible, Isaiah 33:6:

"And there shall be stability in your times, abundance of salvation,
wisdom and knowledge; the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is your
     treasure and His."

God's treasure is not in gold, diamonds and platinum. It is not in the stars, moons or planets.
His treasure is in people who reverence and worship Him. Not only is the reverence and worship of
God His treasure, it is our treasure also.

"Do not gather and heap up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth
     and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal;

But gather and heap up for yourselves treasures in heaven….
For where your treasure is there will your heart be also."
Matthew 6:19-21

There is nothing wrong with prosperity and abundance. God wants us to prosper.(3 John 2).
I have lived blessed as a poor person and have lived blessed in abundance. God is our sufficiency,
in all things. Paul taught he knew how to abound and knew how to be abased.. Then he said,
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

God is He who gives us the power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18). The promise to those who
worship God, keep His commandments and serve no other gods is good success. God endures forever.
Riches do not. Those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and hurtful desires
that plunge them into ruin and miserable perishing (See I Timothy 6:7-13 Amplified Bible). Our
treasure is in heaven.

"If you seek wisdom as silver, and search for skillful and godly wisdom
as for hid treasures; Then you will understand the reverent and worshipful
fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of our [omniscient God].

For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge
and understanding. He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the
righteous-those who are upright and spin right standing with Him; He is a shield
to those who walk uprightly and in integrity, That He may guard the paths of justice.
Yes, He preserves the way of his saints."
Proverbs 2:4-8

There is stability in our times as we fear the Lord and worship Him. He preserves our way. He guards
the paths of justice. We trust in the Lord in every circumstance. Every one else may act unstable,
unthankful and in turmoil. But we have peace with God if our minds are stayed upon Him. We shall have
abundance of salvation as we fear and worship the Lord our God. We will have abundance of wisdom
and knowledge too.

Let us speak out from the treasure house of our heart, claiming the Word and patiently trusting Him.

Let us reverently fear and worship God. It is our treasure and His.
