REDEEMED FROM CURSE

The Old Testament believers were required to live under the entire law that Moses received from God.. If they did not live up to the letter of the law, they would suffer under the curse of the Law.

The curse included: (See Deuteronomy 28 and compare Deuteronomy 7:12-15)

Poverty, sickness, disease, destruction, captivity and various maladies and suffering.

The curse was promised to those who broke the law and did not continue in it.

De 27:26 Cursed be he that confirms (accomplishes, abides) not all the words of this law to do them.

However, Jesus Christ was the end of the law to all who believe. (Romans 10:4) He redeemed us from the curse of the law. He set us free. (John 8:31, 32, 36)

Ga 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree.

If we are redeemed from the curse, then why are many of God's redeemed putting up with the curse of the Law, living with poverty, sickness and destruction, when God has promised that we are redeemed from it?

We are either ignorant of God's promises, do not know how to receive them or have rejected the promises availability to us. Maybe we do have faith to receive but we are still waiting for it. Today we will look at a few verses that should iron out the not knowing part.

Christians, who suffer from the curse, suffer for some of several reasons:(there may be more)

  1. They are still waiting patiently for their promise to come to pass.
  2. Living under the law.

  3. Do not claim rights as sons of God.

  4. Confession.

  5. Incorrect lifestyle choices: breaking
principles for healthy living and prosperity.
  6. No reason at all, but God's work will be manifest in them later.(John9:2, 3)

Ga 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Setting up laws and rules for the flesh to conform by is nothing more than putting yourself back under the law. Under the law, if you are guilty of not keeping one part of the law, then you are guilty of breaking the whole law. Consequently, coming under the curse.

God knew we couldn't keep every iota of the law. We needed a savior from our sins. Jesus became sin for us so that us so we could be the righteousness of God in him.(2 Corinthians 5:21) He became a curse for us to redeem us from the curse.(Galatians 3:13) Therefore:

Ps 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

SAY SO. CONFESS YOUR REDEMPTION FROM THE ENEMY, CONFESS YOUR DELIVERANCE FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW. (See also Isaiah 48:20) There is more to this word of your mouth thing than you may realize.

Ps 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

God healed and delivered by HIS SENT WORD. If we reject God's sent Word then we will not benefit from it as God has promised. SAY THE SENT WORD and claim it for yourself. No matter what your body tells you, your doctors tell you or anyone else says, no matter what your financial condition, you are redeemed and that's that. Your body and finances MUST get in subjection with the Word of God. Speak to your body. Speak to your bills. Say its healed. Say its paid with plenty.

Matthew21:21, 22 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

I know how difficult it is to believe the Word of God when all 5 senses are screaming out the contrary. Hold fast to the faithful Word. Call those things that are not as though they already are. God will bring it to pass. Faint not. You can do it. Keep standing. Keep confessing. Your deliverance is coming. If you need to, go to another believer for help. Get your need ministered to through the power of the holy spirit in operation. Its OK to go to a doctor or financial counselor to deal with the symptoms while you wait for your answer.

If you are suffering from poverty and ill health because of poor lifestyle choices, then learn to live by wise financial choices. (Take a Crown Financial Course) Learn and live by principals for healthy living.* (eat nutritiously, exercise, moderation , heterosexuality within the marriage relationship, etc...)

There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus the Lord. (Romans 8:1) If you are suffering, there is hope and there is a way out. First, let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Demand that you be set free from your adversary. [see GWD Vol.2 Is.10] Claim your legal right to your redemption and all the rights and privileges that come along with it. Live with principals of good stewardship. (Example: You cannot expect to prosper if you consistently spend what you do not have on credit and have to pay 23% interest on everything.)

It will come to pass that:

De 28:13 ...the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath...

Amen.
