FIXED AND MOVED

Are you fixed and moved? These two words sound like opposing positions on the surface. But when your heart is fixed on God, He will begin to move you by His spirit at times. When you are fixed on God's deliverance, He will move the mountains out of your way.[Read Psalm 18]

JUDGES 13:25

And the Spirit of the LORD began to move [to tap, to beat regularly, hence to impel, agitate] him [Sampson] at times...

When you have holy spirit, you will not always be hearing from God over every little thing. Sometimes you need to go with what God told you the last time you got revelation. Sometimes you may feel like you are all alone to deal with your troubles. But God has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you. He loves you.

Have you ever felt like you are left alone to fend off the wolves? David was no stranger to these kinds of thoughts also. He felt troubled and perplexed and wondered when his deliverance would come. At those times, he fixed his thoughts on God's wondrous works of old, and trusted His God. At other times he could actively see the deliverance of His God and see the results of God moving the heavens and the earth to help him.

At the times you do not see your deliverance coming anytime soon, keep your mind fixed on God.

Psalm 77:11, 12

11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Psalm 108:1

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

Amen.
