PRAISE AND WORSHIP

David was a man after God's own heart. He was a man who was aware of God's presence, God's promises and God's compassion. In times of trouble, David praised God and sang songs of adoration to His God. In times of celebration, David sang songs of praise and worshipped His God with songs and dances. He got on his knees and bowed before His God. (Psalm 95:6) He talked of God's wondrous works before the congregation and gave God the glory.

No matter what situation we find ourselves in, let us praise and worship God Almighty, and give honor due His name.

Psalm 95:1-3 Amplified

O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

For the Lord is a great God, and a great king above all gods.

Amen.
