JESUS CHRIST:
The Foundation of Our Faith

     TEARING DOWN WALLS

UNITY IN THE ONE BODY-- When Jesus Christ was dying for our sins on the cross, the veil in the temple that separated us from each other and from God, was torn in two. [Mark 15:38; Ephesians 2:14, 19-22] Now, there is not a physical or spiritual divide between the believing Jews, the Gentiles and the church of God. We are one in Christ, unless, of course, we rebuild the wall ourselves, with factions, denominations, divisions and disputes. Countless churches build four walls and a roof between themselves and another group, each claiming to have a handle on God's indisputable truth.

What really happens each time a new church is built upon division, rather than on principals of multiplication is more discord among the brethren. Rather than forgiveness and a walk in unconditional love, factions war between each other, cutting off the One Body from each necessary part. Backbiting, murmuring, disputes, complaining and other evil practices are allowed to remain in the place of a united Body of Christ, all in the name of God and Truth. Brothers and sisters, this ought not so to be. Let us love in word and in deed. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth. Lets no longer defame and judge our other brothers and sisters in Christ, whether inside our group or outside of it.

The body of Christ cannot be contained within four walls and a roof.

The kingdom of God has no denominational factions, no divisions, no boundaries, no borders and can handle unlimited expansion and growth. Let us get more Kingdom of God oriented and think outside of our little group and denominational box. Let us serve God without confinement, as He directs each one of us.

Romans 12:5

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1Corinthians 12:12

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

1Corinthians 12:18

But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

1Corinthians 3:5

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

Ephesians 2:21

In whom all [ALL] the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Ephesians 3:15

Of whom [Christ] the whole family in heaven and earth is named.

Psalm 133:1

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Amen.
