JESUS CHRIST:
The Foundation of Our Faith

     YOU BELONG!

 
It is a part of God's beautiful design. There is no more enmity
between us and God, and there is no enmity between any of His
people. We are one, united, in a single body through Christ.

 

Ephesians 2:16, 17, 19 Amplified Bible

And [He designed] to reconcile to God both
[Jew and Gentile, united] in a single body by
means of his cross; thereby killing the mutual
enmity and bringing the feud to an end.

 

The war between us is over. Put your hurts and weapons down.

 

And He came and preached glad tidings of
peace to you who were afar off and [peace] to
those who were near.

Therefore you are no longer outsiders - exiles,
migrants, and aliens, excluded from the right
of citizens; but you now share citizenship with
the saints- God's own people, consecrated and
set apart for Himself; and you belong to God's
own household.

 

In Christ, we are one people, one family, one body, one household.
We have all the same rights and privileges as God's heirs. We are
not set apart for our own denomination, church or ministry. We are
set apart for God Himself. We are members in particular in His
household, set apart in His Body, of which, Christ is the head.

Welcome to the household of God. This is where you and I belong.
This is a huge body and it is not divided into little subsections
as far as God sees things. We are one.

So how can I walk like I believe it? Have I separated myself from
other believers? Have I isolated myself from other Christians
because they do not have a handle on every Truth? Have I
erected walls to protect me from further hurt? Do I actively
seek how I may walk in love and bless and serve others regardless
of denomination? Do I see the Christ in others no matter the church
affiliation?

We belong. We are one. Let's walk united in Christ. Let it begin with
me. Amen.
