GOD’S WORD DAILY

God gave Jesus the power he needed, in order to accomplish what God      wanted him to do. For example, Jesus was the first person to ever heal      a man born blind! He needed the power to do so! He was declared,      decreed, the son of God with POWER, not only when Jesus was out      ministering with signs, miracles and wonders following, but also,      much more, when God raised him up from the dead! Jesus, by His own      power and ability, did not raise up himself from the grave. That      mighty power was working in God and was toward the Lord Jesus as he was      being raised from the dead. Jesus operated that power when he healed      the deaf, dumb and blind and lame and diseased.      Likewise, God has foreordained us to know the hope, and the accompanying      rewards of being a joint heir with Christ. God desires we know the power      that worked in Jesus, to raise him up from the dead, will also work in      whom ever will believe.        Ephesians 1:17-20           17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father           of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and           revelation in the knowledge of him:           18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened;           that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and           what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the           saints,           19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power           to us-ward who believe, according to the working           of his mighty power,           20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him           from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in           the heavenly places...        God wants us to know and be acquainted with the same exceeding great      power that raised up Jesus from the dead! This is the same working,      mighty power toward us who do one thing: believe!
