His Workmanship:
     Come as You Are

Ephesians 2:8-10

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.

He is the potter. We are the vessel. He cleaned us up where
we could not. He shaped us for use, fit for our Master. Now
we do the good works God prepared for us because now we are
able, in Christ, to do them. He prepared for us our calling,
he gave us gifts and talents and abilities to use for His
kingdom purposes. Now it is up to us to walk in them.

Come as you are. God cleans us up and has prepared us for the
good works He called us to do. He changes us from one glory to
another glory, through Christ. He works in us both to will and
do of His good pleasure.

What a beautiful creation you are in Christ! A masterpiece!
His workmanship! Amen.
