JESUS CHRIST:
     The Foundation of Our Faith

     PERMISSION GRANTED!

As an adult, Paul was ordained by God to go bring the gospel to the Gentiles. God
called Paul out to do this by revelation. Paul knew, in no uncertain terms,
what he was called out to do. He did not need confirmation or counsel from man.
He had permission from God! He did not confer with or get permission from another
church leader about what God called him to do, he just got busy doing it.

     Galatians 1:15

But when it pleased God, who separated me from
my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach
him among the heathen; immediately I conferred

[consulted] not with flesh and blood:

17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which
were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia,
          and returned again unto Damascus.

For three years Paul did what God called him out to do before he met the Lord's
     other apostle, Peter!

18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to
see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James
          the Lord's brother.

When you have the go ahead from God, you do not need any other men's endorsement,
permission or counsel to perform the doing of God's good pleasure and will! Just get
     busy doing it!

Young people, let me add this, I am not saying to go ahead and do what ever you
want to do without parental permission! I am saying only, that when God calls you out
to do something for Him, you do not need a church group to endorse you, you do not need
degree from a seminary school, you do not need permission from the board of elders, or board
trustees. Just do it in confidence because it is God who is at work in you both to will and
     do of His good pleasure.

Jesus, as a young man, did not confer with Mary and Joseph when he first began to be
about his Father's business. He got busy doing it. [Luke 2:40-51 You may want to look
     this up]
His parents spent several days looking for him. They were pretty bummed
out by the time they finally found him. However, Jesus did return home with his
parents. Jesus was subject to (obedient to) them, even though they did not fully
understand what he was doing for God.

I suggest you confer with your parents before you go off and do anything for
God to save them sorrow and time. If they do not fully understand what it is
you are going for God, that's OK. Be subject to your parents anyway.
[Ephesians 6:1] Put your trust in God. Your Heavenly
Father is with you and will continue to work within you both to will
and do His good pleasure.[Philippians 2:13]

Paul did not confer with the organized temple in Jerusalem for permission to
fulfill the call of God on his life. (They would not have agreed!) He did
not seek endorsement from the other apostles either. (They may have not
believed God would work in him! After all, Paul did murder the saints
the year before!) He just got busy doing what God called him to do.

God made room for Paul to do the work of the ministry. When the fruit was
evident, the other apostles and believers acknowledged the Lord's work.
God will do the same for you and me. Let's get busy. Amen.
