JESUS CHRIST:      The Foundation of our Faith      THE SON OF GOD!        Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is referred to as such forty seven times.      Never in the Scriptures is Jesus referred to as God the Son. NEVER. If you      doubt the validity of this statement, look it up yourself in Strong's Exhaustive      Concordance to the Bible or a Bible software program.        2 Corinthians 1:19           For the Son of God, Jesus Christ,           who was preached among you by us...        1John 5:12           He that hath the Son hath life; and he           that hath not the Son of God hath not life.        Romans 1:4           And declared to be the Son of God with           power, according to the spirit of holiness,           by the resurrection from the dead:        Galatians 2:20           I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless           I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:           and the life which I now live in the flesh           I live by the faith of the Son of God, who           loved me, and gave himself for me.        Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of the Father. Jesus is called the      only begotten son four times. Begotten means only born. God only      fathered, by creating His seed in Mary, one son, and that one son is      Jesus Christ.        Luke 1:35           And the angel answered and said           unto her, [Mary] The Holy Ghost shall come           upon thee, and the power of the Highest           shall overshadow thee: therefore also           that holy thing which shall be born of           thee shall be called the Son of God.        1John 4:9           In this was manifested the love of God           toward us, because that God sent his           only begotten Son into the world, that           we might live through him.        It is important for us to know who Jesus Christ is. He is not God the Son.      He is the only child directly fathered by God Himself.
