JESUS CHRIST:
     The Foundation of our Faith

     THE BREAD OF LIFE!

     John 6:51

I am the living bread which came down from
heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall
live for ever: and the bread that I will give is
my flesh, which I will give for the life of the
          world.

Jesus is the bread of life. Partakers of this bread have eternal life assured.
However, man must not live by bread alone. The sacrifice Jesus made is
enough for us to be made partakers of eternal life. But his sacrifice alone
is not what will sustain us on the earth, while we wait for His return. We
live, we really come alive, by every word of God.

     John 6:35

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he
that believeth on me shall never thirst.

When we eat food, one meal will not last us an entire lifetime. We must continue
to eat and drink. We did not believe God one time. We believe Him over and over and
over. We did not come to Jesus one time, on the day of salvation only. We come before
Him every time we pray. Jesus is our intercessor and mediator. Therefore, to really
live, for a full and complete life, man must not only be saved, but also, come to the
full knowledge of God's Word and revelation knowledge of Him.

     Luke 4:4

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written,
That man shall not live by bread alone, but by
          every word of God.

Jesus gave his life, He poured out His blood, so we may freely receive eternal life in Him.
What we make of the time we have while we await the return of Christ, is up to us.
Will we decide to party it away in sinful pleasures, starving ourselves spiritually,
living in a dry and thirsty land? Will we decide to seek Him daily and live by every
Word of God, in victory and wholeness?

     1Timothy 2:4

Who[God]will have all men to be saved, and to
come unto the knowledge of the truth.

May we continue to faithfully seek God through Jesus Christ and come to a full
knowledge of His Word, partaking not only of the Bread of Life unto salvation,
but also, eating freely of every word that God gives us, for wholeness, from now
     until Jesus returns.
