JESUS CHRIST:
     The Foundation of our Faith

     NO CONDEMNATION!

 

     Every person since Adam, was subject to the law of sin and death, even those who did
     not sin like Adam. By one man's disobedience, [Adam], many were made sinners. But
     by the obedience of one man, Jesus Christ, many are made righteous. [Romans 5:12-21]

     Now there is no condemnation to those in Christ. Where there is no law, there is no
     transgression. Where no curse is, no curse will come. We have been made free from the
     law of sin and death in Christ. Therefore, let us walk in the spirit of life in Christ,
     making no provisions to fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

 

     Romans 8:1, 2

          1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which
          are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after
          the Spirit.

          2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made
          me free from the law of sin and death.

 

     We are free from the law. That also includes being made free from the resulting curses
     the law brought unto those who did not live by the law.

 

     Galatians 3: 10-13

          For as many as are of the works of the law are under
          the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that
          continues not in all things which are written in the
          book of the law to do them. [Deut. 11:26, 28]

          11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight
          of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

          12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that does
          them shall live in them.

          13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law...

 

     Because we are not under the Law, do we willfully, purposefully sin because God is
     so rich in grace? No. God forbid! [Romans 3:31; 6:2, 6:15] We live by a higher
     law, the law of the spirit of life in Christ, the law of love, and the perfect law of
     liberty! The goal is to walk with fruit, demonstrating the power of God. So let's
     live by faith! Let's decide to walk in newness of life that is in Christ! Since our old
     man is dead in Christ, let's keep it buried! Digging up our past mistakes and sins
     brings us feelings of guilt and condemnation. When we mess up, we ask God to forgive
     us and He cleanses us from unrighteousness. Praise God for His goodness! There is now
     no condemnation to those in Christ!
