VOLUME 1, ISSUE 115                                                             JANUARY 22 , 2002

JESUS CHRIST:
     The Foundation of My Faith

What Do I Do With My
     Atonement?

Since Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, became sin for us, that we may be made
the righteousness of God in Him, [2 Cor. 5:21], then we ought not waste or
trample under our feet what He did for us. He has reconciled us back to God
spiritually. We have atonement, eternal redemption. Let's be reconciled to
God in our living habits by living the principles found in God's Word, as
     faithful ambassadors for Christ.

     2 Cor. 5:15

And that he died for all, that they which live should not
henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which
died for them, and rose again.

Let's live for Him! To continue to willfully sin after we are fully aware what Jesus
did for us would grieve The Holy Spirit. To return again and again to the sins that
we were delivered from would be taking the grace of God in vain. Instead, lets
glorify God in our thoughts, words and actions, leaving the old behind,
putting on who we are in Christ instead!

     I Cor 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We have been given the ministry of reconciliation and the Word of reconciliation
so others may be reconciled to God also. We are ambassadors for Christ. Are we
walking as if we represent Jesus Christ and the kingdom of heaven? Are we walking
as if we represent Satan, the world and devilish things? Would we be the kind
of ambassador that makes for peace?

     2 Cor. 5:18

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to
himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the
          ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the
world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them; and hath committed unto us the word
          of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as
though God did beseech you by us: we pray you
in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Let us be reconciled to God. God already moved in us. Now it's our turn! Let's
walk as if we represent Jesus Christ! Continue in the doctrine of God's Word,
[read the Word daily, study it to make it your own, think about it throughout
every day, and live what you know].
Continue in fellowship with other
believers and in fellowship with God. Continue in breaking of bread. Continue in
prayers to God, consistently and continually and faithfully.
