ON CURRENT EVENTS
God bless you, dear readers. In the face of the current events that our country is facing today,
I wanted to write you this extra edition to let you know that I am praying for you and for your families.
I do not have all the answers. But I do know God does. All the facts are not in. Even if they were,
I still would not know everything I want to understand. I just wanted to let you know how much you're loved.
That God hears you and knows of your concerns and fears.
Here are a few verses of Scripture that are helping me cope and that address my tendency to feel afraid sometimes:
Ps 56:3
"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Ps 56:11
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
Isa 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is
my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation
2Ti 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The antidote to fear is to trust the Lord. No matter what is going on around us, He is always with us and will never forsake us.
Perfect love casts out all fear. Please rest in God's love for you and trust He will not leave you nor forsake you. Your times are in His hands.
Ps 31:14, 15
"Remember me, O my God, for good.
"My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me."
Our greatest hope is that Jesus will soon return and gather
together His church, to be with God for all eternity. If you have not acepted Jesus
as your personal savior, why not do so now?
All it takes is saying that Jesus is Lord over your life.

Say that you believe God raised Him from the dead. Jesus died for your sins
to make you righteous. It is a free gift. You did not earn it.
Accept it.
Romans 10:9
THAT IF THOU SHALL CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD,
AND SHALL BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART
THAT GOD HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD,
YOU SHALL BE SAVED.
Let us be of one heart, of one accord, and stick together, demonstrating love.
When you feel afraid, put your trust in the Lord. Our times are in His hands.
Let us be a comfort to people. Continue to pray. Your prayers have a tremendous impact.
I love you. You are precious to God. You are precious to me. You are important to the body of Christ.
