HOW JESUS LOVED, Part 10

According to the records in the Gospels, whenever Jesus was moved with compassion, it was not just
Without going into all the verses here, I just want to mention the results of his compassion.
In one of the Books of the Bible that are written to us, in the church Epistles, we are
Colossians 3:12
     "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
I John 3:17
     "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother
By this will people know that we are His disciples, if we have love one toward another.
Let us put on compassion, bringing to the people God's solution.

a sympathetic, heart tugging emotional thing. Whenever he was moved with compassion, Jesus DID
something about the situation, bringing God's deliverance to the people involved.
He taught them many things (Mark 6:34), He fed the multitudes (Mark 8:2-9), He healed the
blind (Matthew 20:34), He touched the untouchable and cleansed the leprous (Mark 1:40-42),
He sent out laborers to reap the harvest (Matthew 9:36-38, 10:1, 5), He healed their sick
(Matthew 14:14) and He raised the widow's only son from the dead (Luke 7:11-15).
commanded to put on this same kind of compassion.
     bowels of mercies.
     have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion
     from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
