WORD OF THE DAY:"COMFORT"

Many times I find myself in the same precarious position: dealing with
THANK GOD, He has not left me comfortless! He will never leave me, nor forsake
I do not write this for anyone to feel sorry for me. Instead, I want to be
Comfort all begins with seeking God's Word and the God of all comfort. It
Psalm 119:49, 50
     Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
     This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
John 11:19
     "And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary,to comfort them concerning their brother."
I Corinthians 14:3, 5
     But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification,
     I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather
II Corinthians 1:3, 4
     Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord
     Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that
Ephesians 6:21, 22
     But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I
     Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that
Hebrews 10:25
     Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
Comfort comes from the God of all comfort in all our tribulations. He has given us the Comforter, holy spirit, and the ability to comfort the church. He has given us friends and family for comfort. God gave the church faithful ministers, who also bring comfort to us.
Therefore, let us not forsake the assembly of ourselves together. It is a very large part of the "comfort package" we all need on a continual basis, not only when it is convenient to convene.

of someone and to strengthen by inspiring with hope and
restoring a cheerful outlook."

indescribable hurt and loss, feeling terribly alone, without comfort and
without strength. I am tired of being tired of feeling the same fears,
insecurities and pain. I am tired of allowing myself to get this way
after yet another unimaginable tirade of verbal rage, pelted at me without mercy.
Each time, emotional recovery takes much longer than the last. I especially need comfort
from God, the holy spirit and God's people at times like these.

repay. God is my vindicator. The joy of the Lord is my strength!
able to help others who may be going through something similar. I never
lost a brother, like Mary and Martha. I do not know what that is like. But from what
I have had to endure, I know how to get comfort. I know
how to bounce back and keep loving like I never got hurt to begin with.
includes comfort from friends and family. It comes from hearing tongues
with interpretation or prophecy in the church, and comfort comes from
faithful ministers of God who live and speak the Word.
