We are an imperfect people. We needed a savior from our sins.
     We need God's mercy and grace everyday. We need the unconditional
     love from God and from others. We need faithful friends. We need to
     be accepted. We want to please.

     However, we do not always receive
     unconditional love, we don't always have the support of our friends,
     we cannot always please everybody. Good intentions may go awry.
     Often we fall far short of our faith and fall short of good at all and then
     must endure hard consequences. And then others may kick us when we are
     already down. So then what is the answer?

     Vengence is mine, thus saith the Lord. If our enemies hunger, then
     feed them, if they thirst, then give them something to drink. It's easy
     to love those who love us. But it takes awareness of what God has
     done for us to pass it down to others in order to love those who
     do not seem to deserve it. Where you need to strengthen yourself
     with more of God's Word, commit those verses to memory, and begin
     to act on them, until it becomes a part of your new man personality.
     Forget those things which are behind and press on ahead.

     Above all, do not despair. God knows our frame and remembers that we
     are dust. He is always with us. He will never leave us. He will never
     forsake us. When we confess our sin, He is faithful and just and will
     forgive us our sin regardless whether others keep reminding us of them,
     regardless of whether we are forgiven by the people we have unintentionally
     hurt.

     Oh to be more like the Lord Jesus Christ, who was tempted in all points
     like we are, yet remained without sin! We shall see Him as He is and shall
     be like Him when He returns! The victory is ours in Christ. Right now,
     greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world! Faithful is He
     who called you. Faithful is His Word.

     Put your trust in the certainty of God. Trust not in men, nor put your
     confidence in man. People may let you down. God asks us to trust Him.
     He knows best, He's got it all figured out. He will perform His Word on
     His timetable. Fear not. Go in peace. This is a new beginning. Take it. Amen.
