     When I think of the word "converted," I usually think in terms of making converts to a
     Acts 3:19
          Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
          that your sins may be blotted out, when the times
          of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
     repent ="to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (morally, feel
     converted =" to revert (literally, figuratively or morally):--come
      (go) again, convert,(re-)turn (about, again).
     When one gets converted, turning his old ways of the world to God's new ways, the idea is
     Deuteronomy 4:9
          Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently,
          lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen,
          and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy
          life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
     Deuteronomy 11:16
          Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived,
          and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
     Psalm 39:1
          To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.
          I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my
          tongue:I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked
          is before me.
     Luke 21:34
          And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your
          hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness,
          and cares of this life, and so that day [the day Jesus
          Christ comes back] come upon you unawares.
     Colossians 4:17
          And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which
          thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
     Haggai 1:5
          Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts;
          Consider your ways.
     God wants us to repent and be converted. He wants us to turn aside from darkness,
